Bailey

Bailey is a little quirky, she grew her ears out so that she can hear you better. She is willing to listen to your worries and complaints and li,es to fashion herself in stripes and polka dots. Although today she stuck with stripes only because they look so good with her broach and polka dots may clash.

Tawny

Tawny will bring you roses straight from the garden. She wants to do it so badly, that she will run or fly to bring them to you.

Her clothes are made from my mother's recycled clothing, her old sweatshirt.

Recently, I’ve had the desire to create something other than a painting. I love quirky things, original and strange, some people call it creepy…

I took an online workshop with Kecia Deveney from New Jersey, whose dolls I love and admire. The online course was a blast and I started to make the dolls, putting my own spin on them, the dolls I make are totally different than the dolls Kecia makes. but we use the same format.

For me, Art is about exploration and change and growth. Growing and changing is a good thing, spreading my wings and trying something new is exciting.

These dolls aren’t for everyone, but they are fun and quirky and have oodles of personality! Stay tuned.
